The San Angelo Area Foundation hosts an annual campaign in May called San Angelo Gives. Donations received during the campaign are matched by the Foundation, increasing the benefit to the designated recipient. Calvary Lutheran designates a charity to benefit each year and provides special offering envelopes in April. Funds collected are delivered San Angelo Gives on the designated day in May earmarked for the designated recipient.
The donations collected in 2019 and 2020 were earmarked for Habitat for Humanity.
