Meals for the Elderly is dedicated to serving warm, nutritious meals to the homebound elderly in and around San Angelo, Texas.
Good nutrition helps improve the health and well-being of the elderly and improves their quality of life. It's goal is to enable the elderly to live independently, in their own homes, for as long as possible. Recipients are over sixty-five years of age, live alone, and are unable to prepare their own meals.
If you wish to help support Meals for the Elderly with a donation, you can make your check payable to Calvary and earmark it for Meals for the Elderly on your envelope or on your check.
Collections during the 2021 Lenten Wednesday night services were earmarked for Meals for the Elderly.
Calvary members sign up to deliver meals typically one week in July.
